But then I realised
Structure breeds culture
Strong, robust cultures stem from ditto structures containing ditto standards.
Results are the consequence of execution. And nothing else.
When execution is channeled in robust structures with continuity, growth is natural.
Structure → Standards → Execution → Results → Growth
No fluff. Only execution.
We use motivation and encouragement to make our children do the things we want them to do. The idea is that the better they feel, the higher the probability for execution.
When you motivate adults, you are actually treating them like children. And in return, you get immature behaviour. Adults don't need motivation to execute. You need to be held accountable.
– are adults depending on motivation and encouragement to execute. Motivation is the Fentanyl of the corporate world, and just as dependency-making.
Comfort is the key to boredom and death. If you can't stay with your discomfort without escaping in feel-better distractions, you have lost your ability to grow.
It is not about knowledge. It is all about experience. And the only source for experience is execution. Execution is everything. The rest is intentions.
